I started getting a little burned out from sewing, so yesterday I made a few hair flowers for my girls that can be worn as a clip or a headband. I just ordered Hayden new headbands in 10 different colors so she'll have one to wear with every outfit :) I just love the way this yellow rose turned out! I'll have to take pictures of all the hair flowers once I'm done making them.

A Dress for Miss Ava
Isn't she just the cutest? I was lucky enough to have a photoshoot with her just before giving birth. Her mom and I have since become friends. She asked if I could make Ava a dress for Easter.
This is how it turned out. Don't you think it will look so cute on her? When I saw this Micheal Miller Demask print in chocolate brown and pink I thought about Miss Ava's dark eyes and olive skin.
I hope you like it Lisa! I want you to take some pictures of her in it :) If any of you are interested in making this dress, I found the tutorial on lilblueboo.blogspot.com.

Flower Clip Giveaway!!!
I'm turning 30 on Sunday, so to celebrate I want to do a giveaway! Also with Easter coming up, you'll need a pretty flower clip to go with your daughter's Easter dress, so it's a win win!
This giveaway is for a pink and yellow gerber daisy with about 20 yellow swarovski crystals in the center, so there's a lot of BLING! I love the way this flower looks clipped onto a headband as shown on Miss Mia. OK, here are the rules:

2. Leave me a comment telling me who you would give this flower to along with your email address so I can be sure to let you know you're a winner!
For extra entries:
Blog about this giveaway and let me know you have
Facebook about this giveaway and let me know you have
You have 4 chances to win if you do all the above :) Good luck! I'll have Miss Mia draw a name on Wednesday!

The Isabelle Skirt
One order down and two to go! I finished this sweet skirt for a seven year old little girl who is having a birthday this Saturday. Her mom wanted to have something made special for her. It was really sweet, they both came over so I could get her measurements and her mom let her pick out what fabric she wanted. This is my first article of clothing bigger than a size 4t so I was a little nervous, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out and hope she will be too!
Some pictures for your pleasure...

Many New Projects to Come
I feel like I have so much to do with so little time! My friend is hosting a local boutique next month, so I'm trying to get ready for it, only I have orders for people that I need to finish first, so I have a lot of fun projects on the back burner. I'm not complaining because I love new orders and I love creating things to sell at the boutique, I just wish I could lock myself in a room all day and actually have that time to myself ;-) But-- you and I know that life with kiddos is hectic and my only time to work on things is when they're sleeping. I did, however, make it over to Party City today for some cute containers to wrap things in-I'll post it all when I finish :) I also bought some Easter activities I can do with Mia in the upcoming weeks. Will post again soon with projects and pictures to share...

How Cute Are These?
Ok, it's official-I'm addicted to making these cute felt food goodies! I was so happy when I came across this tutorial on how to make these oh so yummy chocolate covered strawberries. They're so gourmet and perfect for tea parties! Thanks to Honey Girl Studio I was able to make my own :) If you'd like to make your own calorie free treat, click on the tutorial link to visit her blog. I definitely plan on making more!

Shamrock Baby Legs
Love these! Such a quick easy project :) I love that I can throw these on Miss Hayden with a plain onesie and it adds so much. Last night I actually put them on her to wear to bed because it was too hot for a regular sleeper, but I didn't want her to get chilled at all with just a onesie. It also made it a lot easier to change her diaper in the middle of the night since I didn't have pants to pull down in the dark :)

Felt Thin Mint Clover Cookies
I've been thinking about these cute cookies since last month and finally got around to making them last night and finished today. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. I didn't have a clover stencil so I had to draw my own which took a few tries before I liked the way it looked. I used chocolate brown and dark green felt from WalMart. The brown felt looks almost black in the picture I know ;-) I haven't seen any thin mint clover cookies anywhere else, and hopefully you haven't either. There are so many creative minds out there, so I'm not the only one that has come up with the idea of St. Patrick's Day cookies, but like I said, I haven't seen any chocolate ones with clovers :) I'll be posting more green projects soon!

New Project In the Works
So sorry I haven't posted anything new since Sunday! These last few days have been filled with things I don't want to do, LOL, so I haven't been able to get around to the things I do want to do...I've started a new cute St. Patrick's Day project that hopefully I'll be able to finish and post tomorrow. I've actually made some clover baby legs too that I still need to post. I've fallen a bit behind, but don't worry, I'll get my act together and will post some fun St. Patrick's Day goodies soon! Be patient with me ;-) Thanks to everyone who leaves comments! It just absolutely makes my day when I hear from you!
