Finally made some time for sewing!

Look at this cute skirt! I loved this pattern by Violet field Threads as soon as I saw it and finally got around to trying it out. I wanted to make something that will be cute for spring and love these two fabrics together. The rose print is by Heather Bailey from her Nicey Jane Collection and the polka dot is by Amy Butler. 
      Of course I had to finish the look with a nice sparkly neutral pearl, faceted, rhinestoned necklace. So pretty for Easter coming up!

MiaMoo Women Released!

I don't know about you, but for me accessories are what usually "make" my outfit! I'm not a real flashy dresser, but I do love me some pretty accessories. With Valentine's Day approaching I thought I would help you accessorize your outfit on your special date :) There are so many to choose from!

This necklace is one of my favorites. It can be worn as a necklace or a broach! Its a great staple in my wardrobe.

This brass locket is also a personal favorite of mine! Not only to I love the look of it, but I love that it can fit pictures of my kids.

Choose Joy-Team Ashley

Most of you in the crafting blogging world know about Lil Blue Boo's blog and are aware of Ashley's fight against cancer. An auction will be taking place February 27-29 to help raise money for her. Cancer treatments are very expensive. If you can donate items for the auction, or money, go to her blog for more info. Her story is heartbreaking AND uplifting. Her slogan is "Choose Joy". What an inspiration she is!

Is it already time for Valentine's Day?

It's not even the new year yet, but in the design world you have to be one step ahead, LOL, so here is a sneak peek of one of my designs for Valentine's Day! I wanted to do something different than your typical Valentine's Day colors so I went with gold as my accent color. I LOVE how it looks with the dark pink and beads paired with Sweet & Dainty's plush heart hair accessory :) I'm taking pre-orders now but will have it posted in my shop on New Year's Day!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the time with your families! I know I'm enjoying a little down time until the New Year :)  I will be back up and running after the 1st.
