6 Years with My Sweetheart!

Today is our six year anniversary :) Luvah is in Tucson all week making rounds at the hospital, but made sure to call me early this morning before he went in to wish me a Happy Anniversary. He'll be coming home for the weekend. It will DEFINITELY be nice to see him! I think we'll celebrate next weekend after he takes his big exam.
Looking at my wedding pictures always makes me reminisce about one of the happiest days of my life. To me, my wedding day was perfect. Everything went just the way I wanted it. I felt so lucky to marry this handsome man and to know he would be mine forever.
I still love to hold his hand, and still love his kisses. He is also the most amazing Daddy to my two girls.
This picture makes me wish I were 24 again! I can't believe how much kids have aged me, LOL...they are worth every wrinkle (just for the record) ;-)
We got married in the San Diego Temple on September 10, 2004. To many wonderful years to come! On a different note, I'm almost moved into our house :) It looked so much better the second time I went over there and especially since we have some of our furniture set up. I bought my first new couch yesterday and LOVE it! Today I went to IKEA and think I found my new favorite store. I was able to find a dresser and some other fun furniture for our front room. Don't even get me started about how cute my sewing room is going to be once we're done painting it! My parents are both coming to town at the end of September and beginning of October to help me fix the place up and to paint the rooms. I'm most excited about my sewing room. Its got built in shelves, cabinets, and drawers. I'll have to take before and after pictures. The only thing I need now is a computer and life will be bliss again :)

Congrats! San Diego is my favorite temple! If I did it over again, I think I would have made the trip to Cali to get married, lol. I LOVE Ikea too! I can go crazy there...Hope you get settled soon in your new place. :)

Happy Anniversary. Those pictures are GREAT, and I'm glad that you got to go to Ikea with Jen. She is a neat lady.

=)

PS. I'll bet you're looking forward to your mom's arrival. Is she going to paint something cool on your walls?

Happy Anniversary, Katie! I am glad to see you are getting settled into your new home and it is feeling more homey. I knew once you started getting your stuff in there, it would feel better. I am excited to see your new sewing room. It is really fun setting it all up, isn't it?! I have heard so much about Ikea, but I have never lived anywhere where we had one. And I guess I've never been in one when visiting. I have got to get there sometime. But, that might not be a good idea. Just another place to find ways to spend my money! ha ha.

Happy Anniversary to you two! Did you get your packages yet? If not I have the tracking numbers that I can send to you. IKEA is awesome! Of course, i have to admit that my favorite purchase is the plastic kid dishes--use them every day :)
