I don't know about other moms out there, but I often feel guilty that our TV is on pretty much all day when we're not out and about. Mia is very artistic and loves working on projects whether it be painting (which is her favorite), baking, or playing with Play-Doh. The other day I busted out her Play-Doh and a baggy full of plastic rhinestones and told her to make me some cookies and to decorate them with rhinestone sprinkles. She was in HEAVEN! It kept her busy for quite awhile too, with the TV OFF! Success :) I gave her a plastic knife because she said she wanted to make hotdogs with sprinkles too, LOL, and wanted to be able to cut them...yes, the plate on the left is full of cut up hotdogs with sprinkles. She asked me to take out her tea party plates and kept bringing me plates of goodies out of Play-Doh. The nice part about getting your little one involved in working on their own projects, is that you can work on your own right next to them at your own table :) WIN WIN! Hope your little ones like this as much as Mia did! If any of you have other ideas for me please share! I'm trying to keep Mia busy throughout the day without watching so much TV.
Lexi would love this craft too! Matthew would probably try to eat the play-doh and the plastic rhinestones. LOL...Cute pics of Mia, she's creative like her Mom.
Hi! I love your website. This is a great way to make playing with playdough more exciting. I host a link up party called TOT TUESDAYS every Tuesday where people share their recipes, crafts and activities for toddlers. I’ve also currently got a giveaway for a Mother Earth scarf at the moment. I hope you’ll stop by:

Welcome to MiaMoo Designs!
I'm Katie! Thanks for visiting my blog! I was inspired to create MiaMoo Designs in honor of my daughter, Mia. This has been such a fun journey! I started MiaMoo Designs 7 years ago and was mostly selling flower clips and burp cloths. I slowly began incorporating dresses, skirts and other hair accessories and turned this blog into more of a craft blog where I could post all my projects, tutorials, etc. I've been making chunky beaded necklaces for about 6 years and I think I finally found my niche! They have really taken off :) I LOVE beads and designing new necklaces to go with various clothing lines and special outfits for my clients. I really enjoy custom orders because they continue to help me think outside the box. Both my daughters 9yrs. and 6yrs. wear my necklaces and feel so glamorous especially with all the compliments they get from people when we're out! MiaMoo Designs necklaces are so unique and will make any little girl feel special. To order, leave me a comment at the bottom of the blog post you are interested in, or go to my big cartel shop to see what is already pre-made (link is at the top right of my blog). You can also find me on Facebook! Thanks! Can't wait to work with you :)
Just a Side Note:
I use swarovski crystals on my accessories--Please keep in mind they do not always photograph well due to the way they pick up light. In person they are VERY sparkly :) If you have any questions regarding the color of the rhinestones used please feel free to leave me a comment!

The whole Play-Doh thing is one of my granddaughter's favorite pastimes, too. She never seems to get tired of it.

Great idea! My girls would love this one, too. What can be better than Play-doh AND bling :)
